We always prided ourselves on producing varietally true releases of Merlot, and the 2006 Prix Reserve Napa Valley, Vichy Vineyard Block 4, Reserve Merlot is no exception. On the nose are red and black fruits while on the palate are bright cherry flavors complimented by a multitude of spices and silky, soul-filling tannins. Too often, people have forgotten what the Merlot experience should be
